Who Is Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
